(1) Style, from the pertinent catalog page, designates the configuration, size, and power rating.
(2) Lead Material... See Lead Material Chart below
(3) Temperature Coefficient... See Temperature Coefficient Chart below.
(4) Resistance Value... Specify resistance in ohms. Most values are specified via a 4-digit code: the first three digits are significant figures and the fourth digit is the multiplier, i.e., the number of zeros to follow (e.g., 250K = 2503; 2.55K=2551; 255Ω=2550). For values under 100Ω, 'R' is used for the decimal (e.g., 39Ω=39R0; .025Ω=R025). For values with more than 3 significant figures, use additional digits as necessary (e.g., 255.5K=25552; 2.555K=25550).
(5) Tolerance... See Tolerance Order Code Below
NOTE: If you order a resistor by specifying only the style, resistance value and tolerance, KRL will manufacture to standard specification unless otherwise indicated.

(1) Standard lead material for Precision and Power Wirewound Resistors.
(2) Standard lead material for Low Ohm and Surface Mount Resistors plus Precision Resistors below 25ohms.
(3) Thermal EMF vs. lead material given in microvolts/°C from ±0°C to +100°C
(4) Low lead resistance may be a significant factor. These figures represent lead resistance ratio to copper, since copper is the lowest.
