RoHS Compliance Position Statement
We are pleased to announce, effective September 30, 2005, all KRL products are available in accordance with the WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC, amendment 2003/108/EC). Our standard products plated construction will be expanded to include a "Lead Free", RoHS complaint option.
By simply adding an "E" after the part tolerance, any product can be supplied with a lead-free terminal. All packaging labels will identify the product as RoHS compliant, and if requested, a certificate of compliance will accompany the product.
In an effort to better serve our customers during our industry's transition to RoHS compliance, KRL is committed to providing both RoHS compliant and non-RoHS compliant products. The RoHS initiatives may not affect certain customers in the military and aerospace industry. It is our goal to keep both our RoHS exempt and non-exempt customers satisfied with our complete product selection. All non-compliant part numbers will be kept active as long as the industry demands exist. If required, standard non-compliant, RoHS product will be converted to a custom, unique part number for the specified application. This strategy will ensure the KRL will be able to satisfy whatever plating option our customer base requires.
